For the past couple of weeks, Ollie has been whining, crying, barking and jumping at the bookcase in the office. There wasn’t a toy in sight, and I even picked him up one day and show him that there wasn’t a rope hidden behind any books. It never occurred to me that he would think the magic 8 ball was a toy, but I set it down on the ground last night, and off he went. He chased that thing around for a good half hour and this is the best action shot we could get…
You strap the little camera to his collar, and it snaps away (up to 40 photos) while your pet goes about their daily routine of napping, eating, and more napping.
The camera is PC and Mac compatible and Lisa is giving away FIVE of them, so stop by her blog and enter to win by commenting, Tweeting, Stumbling, and/or blogging!
I love this video of treat time at a doggy daycare in Canada, called Back in the Pack. Make sure to check out their Flickr, because they have some of the cutest and funniest dog photos, and there may be a few weiner dogs thrown in for good measure.
I surrendered to the pet section on a recent trip to IKEA and came home with something Ollie didn’t need and will probably never use…a tent.
I had such high hopes that he would instantly love his new little hideaway and spend many an afternoon napping inside, but he looked at me like I had bought him an Oscar de la Renta dress and immediately began barking at it.
The barking finally stopped but I was only able to get Ollie to reach in far enough to grab a treat. He likes snuggling into confined spaces, so I think it’s the noise and movement of the tent when he gets in that spooks him.
Every day we try to get him to go in a little further and it sits out all day for him to see. Maybe I’ll come home one day and he’ll be tucked inside taking a siesta!
