Congratulations to our winners: Sherry Eckman, AmandaMarie, and Vicky!
I just can’t resist the Only Hearts Pets. They are so small (only 2 1/4 inches tall) and cute that I want to collect all 50 of them, but instead I buy them as gifts for the kids in our family any chance I get.
Each pet comes with a clip to connect them to a backpack, purse, or belt loop and they have little velcro hands so you can join them all together. Too cute.
Puff, Wags, or Barkley could be yours, because I’m giving away one of each! Here’s how to enter:
Leave a comment and tell me which Only Hearts Pet is your favorite.

Please leave a separate comment for each entry with the appropriate links and/or user names to confirm entries. Three winners will be chosen at random from the post comments. Good luck!
Now…if we could just get them to add a dachshund to their collection! Think they would consider naming him Ollie?
The fine print…Entries will be accepted until midnight, May 9, 2009. Winners will be chosen at random and announced on May 10, 2009. Winners will be contacted by email and will have 48 hours to respond. Please use your real first name and a valid email address when entering. I am not responsible for incorrect contact information.
Ollie is a very metro pup. Nails trimmed, fur soft and shiny, smelling of Stud Muffin with a collar change once a week. So, when he started to stink a few days ago, it wasn’t like him at all!
Thinking it was just wet dog smell, I gave him a good bath, but the smell lingered. My mom smelled it, my husband smelled it, and it was a distinctly musty smell. When Ollie skipped breakfast two days in a row and started eating grass, it was time for a vet visit.
Diagnosis: A buildup of yeast in Ollie’s system
Treatment: Endure the stink, it will go away
Bill: $50
The good news is that Ollie was otherwise given a clean bill of health, but the vet did say she’s never diagnosed a pet by giving them a sniff. His ears are clean, teeth are clean, and no booty problems.
Have your dogs ever gotten a funky smell? Any problems with yeastie beasties?
Ollie was one happy dachshund yesterday when he received a pail of treats from Laineys Pawtique & Bakery. All the treats are handmade and come in yummy flavors like banana, apple & honey, and pumpkin, then they are coated in doggie-safe chocolate and sprinkles, making them absolutely adorable.
Ollie taste-tested several treats and snatched a sprinkle coated rawhide, which means four paws up! Be sure to visit her Etsy store and order some treats for your pup!
Big thanks to Pestkaj at I Like for the great giveaway!

To Ollie, the fun in getting new toys has generally been to see how quick he can destroy them. Anything stuffed is mangled within 3 minutes, a rope can be chewed clean through in 5 minutes, and a sock lasts approximately 30 seconds before it has a hole.
But his newest pull toy has set a new longevity record. You can see where he chewed the plastic, but it’s still in one piece after two whole weeks of play!
So, how long does it take your dog to destroy their toys? This can’t just be a weiner dog trait!
Ollie and I are pretty excited about the new PayPerPost v4.0. Paid blogging provided me with the extra money to purchase Ollie and paid blogging helps keeps Ollie in the life he has become acustom…lots of treats and squeaky toys.
In my opinion, there are three main things that make the new PayPerPost a phenomenal platform.
Registering blogs is simple. No codes to install and no approvals to wait for. Just enter your URL, a summary of your blog, and how much you’re willing to work for.
The work comes to the blogger. After your blog is registered, you’ll receive an email when you have work. You then have three days to complete your assignment.
Bloggers choose their own fate. There are no restrictions, no rules for or against interim posts or blogging frequency, no right or wrong way to blog or approach paid blogging. Bloggers use their best judgment to make their blog appealing to advertisers.
I’ve already had the pleasure of completing several assignments through the new PayPerPost, including this one, and I couldn’t be more pleased. It’s simple, intuitive, I have control of my blog, and we just may get a friend for Ollie with the money I earn through the new PayPerPost!
If you want to try out the new PayPerPost, leave me a comment and I’ll be passing our alpha codes. I only have 8 PayPerPost alpha codes left, so act quick!
Ollie’s never met a legume he doesn’t like. Peas and edamame are two that I eat frequently and that Ollie goes crazy for. Every time I have peas for dinner, he waits patiently for his own plate, which he of course gets.
Ollie busted out his pink sweatshirt to support Laurie and her Race for the Cure and you should, too! Stop by La Vie de Laurie for a chance to win a Save the TaTas gift t-shirt!
If you’re a new visitor, you might not know that Ollie was purchased with the money I made blogging. So when Ted Murphy (the CEO of Izea – the company that sparked my interest in paid blogging) requested that we have a little fun with his mug (ala Flat Stanley) it was only fitting that he and Ollie were properly introduced.
