Back in college, we all had that friend that would fall asleep (or pass out drunk) anywhere. In class, on the front stairs, in the back seat of someone’s car.

Unfortunately for them, their slumber pretty much guaranteed someone would mess with them and make them the butt of some joke.

Ollie was not amused to wake up as a long-haired weiner dog.

I love staying at hotels. Room service. Mini bottles of shampoo. Cabana boys. Lots of fluffy pillows. Adjusting the thermostat right to where I want it. The daily newspaper delivered to my door.

Sausalito hotels, like The Lodge at Tiburon, are just across the bay from San Francisco, which means they are a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city while still being conveniently located and offering the best Northern California has to offer.

And the best part about The Lodge at Tiburon? They are pet-friendly!

But really, who could resist this furry little guest?

They say you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Clearly this book is going to be the exception to that rule.

TrueCoffee is a cozy coffee shop in Thailand that’s like the Starbucks of 10 years ago. They are rapidly expanding and adding to their menu. Their newest offerings are quick bites, with hot dogs that are served in this adorable dachshund wrapper!

So cute and clever! Kudos to the design team.

After a bit of measuring, we realized that the Kuranda pet bed wasn’t going to fit in the corner we had in mind, so we opted for the SnooZZy pet bed.

I think it’s safe to say that Ollie is okay with that decision.

The SnooZZy pet bed is similar to the cushion Ollie has now, but much more plush. It’s also really convenient to move from the couch to the porch to the car, so I think we’ll get a lot of use out of it.
