Lazy Elf
If Ollie were a real elf (as opposed to an imaginary elf), nobody would be getting anything for Christmas because he is lah-zay.
Hope your holidays are relaxing!

His shirt says “elf sized.”

As you can tell from the photo, we spent this weekend lounging around.
An makeshift fig leaf was needed to make the picture family friendly.

Visitors are coming! Visitors are coming!
My mom, dad, and sister will be in town for Christmas and they are pretty much the only people (besides my husband and I, natch) that Ollie welcomes into our home with open paws.
When Ollie was a puppy, my sister and I lived together (she’s the reason Ollie has a blog in the first place), and he still recognizes her by name. This is the look I got when I mentioned that she was coming to visit – he perked right up and wouldn’t take his eyes off the front door!

Here’s to hoping he doesn’t hump her pillow or steal her underwear while she’s here!
Lands’ End sent me this lovely knit throw and before I could even settle in with my Kindle and hot chocolate, Ollie claimed it as his own.
Such is life with a wiener dog.

My mom sent over this little video of Mister Floyd doing his best caroling and I couldn’t resist spreading the holiday cheer. Doesn’t he look festive in his wreath collar? He loves to sing and it doesn’t take much prompting to get him going.
