You didn’t really think Ollie would let a holiday pass without celebrating properly, did you? Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We hope you enjoy some time with friends and family (or at least the day off of work).
Please take a second to read the 10 Thanksgiving foods not to feed your dog so that we can be thankful for our best friends again next year.

I don’t know how parents do it.
Since the divorce, Mike and I have fallen into a joint custody arrangement with Ollie. While I’m at work, Mike picks up Ollie, takes him for a walk, and they spend some quality time together. After work, I either pick Ollie up or he’s waiting for me at home.
Ollie doesn’t seem to mind this arrangement in the slightest. In fact, I think he likes having two homes to take a snooze. It’s me that gets all choked up when Ollie sees Mike and wants to follow him back to his house (we live in the same neighborhood). Or waits by the door after Mike leaves. Thank goodness we never had kids, because I could not handle sharing them.
Mike will be watching Ollie when I travel home for Thanksgiving so they are going to have a test sleepover this week just to make sure that Ollie doesn’t stress out. For some reason I don’t think that’ll be a problem.

Ollie snoozin’ at his second home.
