With the temperatures hovering around 100 for oh, six months out of the year, Ollie needs a cool treat  to enjoy just like the rest of us. Since I’m sick of paying $5 for a package of frozen dog treats with mystery ingredients at the grocery, I whipped up my own version of this doggy fro-yo recipe.

I’ll be honest; Ollie wasn’t loving it at first (I’ve heard other dachshund owners say their pups snubs new treats, too), but after a long walk on a hot day, he devoured a cup. Now he knows there’s a treat in store whenever I open the freezer.

Doggy Fro-Yo

Makes 12 treats

• 2 cups Greek yogurt
• 1 medium banana
• 1/2 cup blueberries
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1 tablespoon agave nectar
• 12 Dixie cups

Combine, blend, freeze, and share with your pup.
