If that cartoon isn’t exactly like Ollie, then I don’t know what is.
Every morning, I get up, make myself breakfast, and at the exact moment that the bacon comes out of the microwave, Ollie magically appears.
Ditto for anything out of the refrigerator.
And cabinet.
And any bags rustling in the general direction of the kitchen.

Ah, yes, the power of food! Dogs notwithstanding, I think it’s improved my own hearing over the years. Is the ear-bone connected to the stomach-bone?

Both my dogs are like that when I rattle dishes in the kitchen or get ice out of the freezer. Ears of steel!
My dogs go as far as even knowing the sound of canned whip cream…..since they get some occassionally!

That happens with our cat Little Bit. Lately anytime we go near the kitchen counter, he comes on over to check out what’s going on. I’ve almost fallen with him under my feet about a dozen times already. You just gotta love ‘em!
